Much of the lqcquer then is missing on the entire bell, going all the way back around the back bow appears largely down to the bare brass.

You might call this a “Player’s Horn” as it does have some significant lacquer wear, perhaps an enterprising young musician marched with it in the school band, the logo is sharp.
