Really an intermediate trumpet at an expensive price. Silver plated, serviced, in excellent condition. Serviced and in excellent shape, no dents or dings, no repairs. It is purported to have a bright sound and is highly collectible.

We’ve got another one! These serial numbers on these two LA Benge’s we own are very close to each other. Serviced and plays great! Collector’s item. This one is in excellent shape, not a lot of use on it beautiful silver plate, with a Gold-Wash bell, Gold top and and bottom caps, art deco engraving on bell, and a colorful design for the valve caps.

The bell/body brace was resoldered on the bell side, brace off of lead pipe leading to 2nd valve resesoldered excellent work on both! No other dents or dings. Had some dent work done work done on the back of the bell running back, not around the bell flare, and second small slide again both done very well, not quite seamless but close.

Much of the lqcquer then is missing on the entire bell, going all the way back around the back bow appears largely down to the bare brass.

You might call this a “Player’s Horn” as it does have some significant lacquer wear, perhaps an enterprising young musician marched with it in the school band, the logo is sharp.
